Overheard in the Galeria Borghese, in front of the statue of Napoleon’s sister Paulina, by Bernini:

“Cara, you know, the (marble) folds of her robe hang just the same way my Roberto Cavalli evening dress does! And as for Bernini’s David…..well! Need I say more?!”
